Hello everyone and welcome to another Electric Bike Action podcast interview. Today’s episode is a talk with Chris Rothe. Chris is a former expert BMX freestyle rider from the Bay area, who started getting into mountain bikes years ago and pushing limits, then started playing with electric motors for go-karts and eventually adapting one of those motors to a mountain bike. He fell in love with e-bikes, especially high-powered ones, and he now runs EcoBike Adventures and an 1800 acre ranch near Lake Tahoe. You’ll hear in this interview how Chris may be the reason behind Santa Cruz jumping on the e-bike bandwagon.
